Work With Us
TID is a growing network, and we are looking for more clinicians to help expand our services. We offer opportunities for both volunteer clinical work and a limited number of paid clinical sessions.
As a small organisation experiencing rapid growth, we rely on the time, skills, expertise, and professional networks of our volunteers. The more clinicians we have involved, the more services we can develop and deliver.
Clinical Roles
To work directly with clients, you must:
-
Be a qualified doctor, nurse, or psychologist with a current licence to practise.
-
Be registered with the appropriate professional body.
-
Hold adequate professional indemnity insurance.
We also welcome applications from trainees, subject to their level of training and relevant experience. We are particularly interested in hearing from professionals who regularly work with people seeking asylum.
Training and Support
All clinicians working with TID will be required to:
-
Undergo an enhanced DBS check.
-
Complete TID's induction and training programme.
-
Participate in ongoing continuing professional development (CPD).
-
Attend regular clinical supervision.
Other Opportunities
If you are no longer working directly with patients, there may be opportunities to contribute in other ways, including:
-
Resource development
-
Project evaluation
-
Research and service development
-
Other specialist support roles
For an informal conversation about getting involved, please contact us and we will arrange for you to speak with one of our clinicians.
